How to install 0.5.1

NOTE: This is a alpha release, and as such not easy to install

This release exist in two versions one as a pure Java version (BuzzyBossBox-5.1.zip) you need a full JDK 1.6 already install on your computer to run this. You might find one at Oracle. The second version is for Windows and install the Buzzy Boss Box as a Windows services (BuzzyBossBox-win-5.1.zip) it comes with a full JDK and you do not need anything extra.

How to install BuzzyBossBox-win-5.1.zip

• Download the Buzzy Boss Box and extract it (un-zip).
• To install the application as a Windows Service: Open a command prompt (CMD) and change into the directory where you extracted the application. Run the InstallBBB-NT.bat script. The application will now start every time you start Windows
• To start the application manually, run the StartBBB-NT.bat script
• Start a browser and connect to http://localhost:9180
• Now you need to set-up your Music Libraries. Go there by clicking on the menu to the right and give the directories where you have your music
• To stop the application manually run the StopBBB-NT.bat script
• To un-install the application run the UninstallBBB-NT.bat script. Then delete the directory.

After a little while you should be ready to hear your music.

How to install BuzzyBossBox-5.1.zip

• Download the Buzzy Boss Box and extract it (un-zip).
• To start the application. Open a command prompt and change into the directory where you extracted the application.
• On Unix/Linux run chmod +x run.sh followed by ./run.sh
• On Windows run run.bat
• Stop the application by press ctrl C
